Here is a page where we share thoughtful contributions from our community.  These could be prayers or poems, for example.

Below is a prayer written by Natalie Marlow (age 10) based on a scripture from 1 Kings. “Please pay attention to my prayer. LORD my God, show me your favor as I make my appeal to you. Listen to my cry for help. Hear the prayer I’m praying to you today.” 1 Kings 8:28 (New International Reader’s Version)

I have written prayers to share with you. Please respond with the theme LORD, HEAR OUR CRY after each small prayer.

We pray for all the people here today. For those who can’t be with us. For our families and friends. May we all come together to seek the Lord and give Him praise. LORD, HEAR OUR CRY We pray for those who are sick, hurt, and troubled. May God help them and heal them. LORD, HEAR OUR CRY We pray for the safety of children. We pray for guidance from their parents. May God lead and protect families. LORD, HEAR OUR CRY Teach us, Lord, how to spread the Good News about our savior Jesus to others. Provide us with opportunities to teach others about your love and give hope to those in despair. LORD, HEAR OUR CRY Make us servants to show others God’s love. May we help the poor and those in need. Let us care for one another as Jesus cares for us. LORD, HEAR OUR CRY Lord, we thank you for our food, water, homes, and all of the blessings you give us. We know that every good and perfect gift is from God. LORD, HEAR OUR CRY Lord forgive us for our sins. We are grateful that you forgive us for the things we do wrong and the things we leave undone. Have compassion and mercy on us. LORD, HEAR OUR CRY Father, we ask you to listen to all of the prayers being shared today. May we honor you and give you thanks and praise. LORD, HEAR OUR CRY
