Lenten Wednesdays 6-8:15 pm  (Feb 17, 24, Mar 2, 9, 16)

Becoming the Story We Tell

 

The Lenten reflections focus on the gospel readings for Lent and ask three questions:

 

  • What is Jesus offering us?

  • Where is the resistance to Him coming from?

  • What wil we have to risk or renouce to be free to follow the way of Jesus?

 

Each week we will have:

6pm Soup Supper plus mac n' cheese

7 pm Small Group Reflections

7:45 pm Open Discussion

 

Maundy Thursday:  March 24th

6:00 pm supper - modified Christian Seder

7:30 pm Liturgy begins in Dove Hall

8:30 pm Vigil in the Garden and Laybrinth Walk (Dove Hall)

 

Good Friday: March 25th

8am Continental Breakfast

8:30 am Commissioning Service

9:00 am Work Day of Service

5:00 pm Service

6:00 pm Soup Supper

 

The Great Vigil of Easter - Saturday March 26th

7:30 pm Beginning outside with the kindling of new fire

9:00 pm Paschal Soiree - We celebrate the victory of Christ in grand fashion.  Bring something to share.

 

Easter Sunday - Sunday March 27th

6:30 am Ecumenical Service at Round Valley Youth Center, Philip preaching

 

8 am and 10 am - Holy Eucharist
